IKEA
IKEA sells low-price products, including furniture, accessories, bathrooms and kitchens at retail stores around the world. While IKEA's core business is the selling of home furnishings, they also develop and purchase IKEA products in relationship with suppliers.Project Description
We developed a complete concept application, including a demo for IKEA's wardrobe system PAX. The concept integrates into IKEA's MOVEX system and order process. A kiosk provides easy access to all existing modules and allows the customer at any IKEA store to configure the furniture the way it fits their individual room. In addition, it enables them to view the actual furniture the way it looks when assembled with the modules, colors, and materials selected. As a next step, the user can log on to IKEA's website from home and view the configured furniture and check its measurements. The kiosk prints an order log to make sure the customer has everything needed for the final, configured furniture.This project has been developed with the friendly support of our partner Focustribe who rendered the design.
