BEKB
BEKB is a Swiss bank with over 1,500 employees in 75 branches all over Switzerland.Project Description
We developed an extranet online shop where office and PR supplies can be ordered by employees. We included a work-flow system, where superiors can confirm or decline orders from their employees. The system not only saves time, but it also helps save money because only necessary orders are confirmed. The office and PR supplies can easily be retrieved with either the search function or the category tree. The products itself are automatically retrieved from the existing product administration software ABACUS.Also included in the web-based application is a site where company news can be read. We provided BEKB with a manager which makes it easy to publish any news with the possibility to insert pictures. We implemented this project with an ORACLE database. Our client decided at the end to use the MS SQL database. Thanks to our system independent programming we could easily switch the database to meet BKEB's requirements.
